Angolan Cultural Identity
This exhibition summarises the joint-vision of Henrique and Ana and touches upon feelings towards Angolan identity and the search for proudness and belonging. Rescuing the connection to the Angolan land and its ancestral roots.
Exploring themes of identity, memory, and spirituality, it reflects on what culture and identity means through the lens of lived experience. Angolan Cultural Identity shares and celebrates Angolan people in Great Britain as a dynamic diaspora with a visual story of reconnection.
Canvases and prints on display will be available for purchase after the completion of the exhibition. We will be taking reservations throughout the exhibition.
