This exhibition highlights the Somali individuals who donated objects to the Anti-Tribalism Movement and the community’s response to these objects. Through intimate portraits, photographer Mahamed Mahamud, Nimbles Archive, captures the community’s experiences, memories, and connections, placing their identities at the heart of the narrative, and offering a deeper understanding of the objects’ significance.”

Mahamed (also known as Nimble) is a photographer, curator and archivist, whose work is rooted in documenting the vibrant culture of the Black diaspora. His projects have evolved into telling new stories whilst still building a living archive that celebrates the lived experiences of Black Londoners, capturing the essence of our city’s ever-evolving cultural scene. As part of an archival project, Mahamed has curated three sold out exhibitions. Mahamed has captured our donors through his lens in this latest exhibition.
