Daughters of the Nile

Banāt Al-Nīl (Daughters of the Nile) marks Mehaira Abdelhamid’s debut exhibition. Colourful tiyyab, ornate headpieces adorn Sudanese women in a collection that highlights the beauty and resilience that defines Sudanese culture.

Launching on 5th November 2025, this exhibition closes on the 29th November 2025. Don’t miss out on this month long celebration of Sudanese Culture. No tickets needed, Just walk in during our opening hours: Thursdays and Fridays – 12pm to 7pm and Saturdays 11am to 7pm.

Select prints and a photography book curated by Mehaira will be sold at Culture House throughout the exhibition. There is also a donation bucket for loose change on the reception desk. 100% of the proceeds from sales and donations will be going to Human Appeal to fund the Sudan Emergency Appeal.
