We are currently taking applications for our second cohort of workshops being delivered by the talented Nomadic Libaax. Sessions are running from 6th of August to 3rd September 2025. The theme being covered is heritage through objects and across 5 workshops you will build your confidence, develop understanding of poetic techniques and create a unique piece to perform at a future open mic night on Friday 19th September 2025.

Poet Profile

Nomadic Libaax, which translates to Wondering Lion is a British Somali Rhythmic Assisted Poet,

who uses the mediums of rhythm & rhyme to create cinematic experiences.

His work is centered around questioning all the intricacies that shape life into what it is, trying to widen perspective to understand the direction of intention.

He is an avid community activist facilitating workshops across London from empowering youth to find their voice to tell their stories through interactive creating writing workshops, to leading  and designing projects to provide digital empowerment through upskill in areas such as emerging technology, digital transformation and more.

Nomadic Libaax is a Creative Curator at heart, who promotes community empowerment, creative discovery and promoting platforms that amplify the  voices of The Global Majority.
