Poetry Club

A key part of Somali history is poetry and spoken word as stories were passed down orally for hundreds of years. At Culture House we want to support anyone interested in taking part in the art of poetry. Using our dedicated learning space we will provide a poetry workshop every 2 weeks at Culture House, with a skilled poetry facilitator leading the sessions. Whether you are a first-time poet or have attended intensive poetry workshops before, all are welcome to come to the poetry workshops at Culture House.
