Workshops
We offer a variety of workshops that provide hands-on learning opportunities. These workshops cover a wide range of topics including traditional crafts, storytelling and Somali cultural practices.
Our workshops are led by skilled educators who are dedicated to sharing Somali cultural knowledge and skills. With the workshops being tailored to different ages groups to enable everyone to have an age appropriate introduction to culture and heritage. The workshops will change from month to month, check back regularly to stay up to date on the latest workshops being offered at Culture House.

Threads of Memory – Our Community and the Stories Behind the Objects
This exhibition highlights the Somali individuals who donated objects to the Anti-Tribalism Movement and the community’s response to these objects. Through intimate portraits, photographer Mahamed Mahamud, Nimbles Archive, captures the community’s experiences, memories, and connections, placing their identities at the heart of the narrative, and offering a deeper understanding of the objects’ significance.”
